Judging comments:


The idea of the contest was to depict the two characters as the animal that best represents them, and this could go either way. Either the artist is saying that Light and Ryuzaki are very similar, or they just like cats! I think they did the best portraying a relationship though, and their lines are very clean!

Though not colored, ukulelecrazy's line work is solid with nice shading. The idea of similar but different costumes is perfect because light and L truly are the same in many ways but still very different people.

The predatory cat and the preyed upon bunny are a good trope to go to, and the colors work very well! So do the footies on the kigurumis. Everything fits their personalities very well.

This is adorable! Both of their hairstyles are nicely done, and the pose idea is creative (Nagisa looks sooo kawaii!) Her right leg looks a bit off, but otherwise, it’s really nice ~
